Hey everybody! How about that Super Bowl? Holy crap, that was a great game with an epic finish. Granted, I don’t like either team, but well done New England, well done.
As a lot of you know, I co-founded an independent publishing comapny called Two Dudes, Brews, & Books with my friend and co-writer Jeff Trelewicz. This past weekend was a huge weekend with Jeff releasing his first book “Everything Comes Full Circle” on Friday.
The premise of the story is a group of high school alumni come back together to perform their hit play. It has an ensemble cast and moves pretty quickly which makes it a very entertaining weekend read. This character driven book changes view points quite frequently and gives you the feeling of knowing each of the cast members and their struggles. At 99 cents, there is great value in these pages. We released another book this weekend by another first time author, Jack Crosby. Jack is a mid-thirties, hard working guy who likes to write in his spare time. He reached out to us to see if we could help him with his first venture into writing. “Death Among Us” is his brain child and it’s a doozy.
This book isn’t for the feint of heart. It is a very funny, mature story that takes us on an adventure with Derrick Grimm. Derrick has a secret, he’s Death, one of the Four Horsemen who now lives on Earth full-time. Readers be warned, there is strong language, adult situations, and plenty of laughs. If this is your cup of tea, you will seriously enjoy it. Here is the link to Crosby’s book: http://www.amazon.com/Death-Among-Us-Jack-Crosby-ebook/dp/B00SYVPPV6/
The final bit of information is about my non-fantasy, action-adventure book coming out later this spring. Leaving the world of Norse Gods and the paranormal behind for a minute, the next book features boxer Oliver Callahan on his journey back to redemption. I’ve enlisted some help from some former and current boxers to make sure the story is accurate and gives you, the readers, a real life look into the sport. There is also a good deal of romance in it to keep everyone interested.
With all that out of the way, tomorrow we willr eturn to your regularly scheduled reading of The Cactus Killer – Chapter 8! Until then, take care and have a wonderful day.
