I Love Fantasy

As most of you know by now, I write mostly fantasy novels as a second career/hobby. It’s also the same gene that I read, a lot. I’ve read so many different novels from different times (everything from The Hobbit to Chance Lee) that I call myself an aficionado.

To me, we all should embrace a good fantasy novel once in awhile. Sometimes the real world is a cold, cruel place. A good novel with a far off land and a fun cast of characters gives us a break from the difficulty that life sometimes hands out.

My recommendations? That depends on what you’re looking for. You can’t go wrong with the classics but don’t be afraid to try the new stuff. Patrick Kampman, Kevin Hearne, and Rick Riordan are three of my favorites. Kevin and Rick build interactive settings while Patrick kills it with fun characters.

I know you probably have your favorite authors and I’d love to hejeremycrostonre. Who knows, maybe one of you will list me!

About Jeremy Croston

I'm a comic loving, soccer playing, devoted husband who has a writing addiction. I can be found at Orlando Solar Bear hockey games, at the local sports bar cheering on my teams from Philly (go Flyers!), and being led astray by my schnauzer, JJ. Check out my Amazon page at www.amazon.com/author/jeremycroston to see my collections. Feel free to friend me on Facebook too at www.facebook.com/jcroston2 (there is another one of me out there apparently). Outside of writing, I work in business development and am considered an expert in all things Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Thanks for stopping by and looking forward to talking to you soon!
