I’m Still Alive

Despite rumors that your #1 favorite author was either retired or dead, nope I’m still here. Barely, but here nonetheless. Between getting ready for the release of Hat Trick: A Ragnarok on Ice Story and being an all around good dad, my time has been pretty limited. That said, I do apologize for the radio silence over the past 2 weeks or so. I owe you guys some Detonation Games, and those will be up tomorrow – scout’s honor.

“How awesome is this cover?!”

Today, I’d like to talk Hat Trick. I am so psyched for this book; honestly it might be the best book I’ve written. Everyone knows my passion for Norse mythology, so with a chance to go back into the world of Jack, Rumil, and co., I just couldn’t resist. New characters, new monsters, and the same old wit will be waiting for you as soon as you slip into the book. And yes, this is an old concept cover I once had that I just couldn’t let go. It needed it’s time to shine.

I’d like to give a big thank you to the following people: Steph (my wife and publisher!), Becki (one awesome editor), Ryan (the best book trailer guy around), and all my countless friends who I threw crazy ideas out to at the most random times. Hat Trick wouldn’t be here without you.

So yeah, Detonation Games will be back tomorrow. I will be posting 2 issues in the hopes to try and get caught up. In the meantime, I leave you with this last teaser for Hat Trick…

About Jeremy Croston

I'm a comic loving, soccer playing, devoted husband who has a writing addiction. I can be found at Orlando Solar Bear hockey games, at the local sports bar cheering on my teams from Philly (go Flyers!), and being led astray by my schnauzer, JJ. Check out my Amazon page at www.amazon.com/author/jeremycroston to see my collections. Feel free to friend me on Facebook too at www.facebook.com/jcroston2 (there is another one of me out there apparently). Outside of writing, I work in business development and am considered an expert in all things Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Thanks for stopping by and looking forward to talking to you soon!
